So many today rely on what others tell them about what the scriptures mean not taking the time to search the scriptures for themselves.  If more would dig into the Word of God they would see that alot of what they thought was true actually is not.  It’s based on tradition and what has been taught in their family.  This site strongly encourages and promotes the study of scripture and encourages each individual to rightly divide the Word for themselves.  Yes we should listen to our pastors and teachers but always take what they are teaching and make sure it lines up with the Word of God.
